VeBeGe runs entirely on your own computer. Your camera video is filtered on your machine and never leaves it. There is no account, no tracking, and nothing to upload. The longer version below just says the same thing in more words, because lawyers.

The app

What VeBeGe on your computer does with your data.

Nothing leaves your device. The whole point of VeBeGe is to keep your camera private, so it would be a strange product if it did otherwise.

Your camera video is processed on your own computer, in real time, to remove anyone who is not you. That video is never recorded, uploaded, or sent anywhere
VeBeGe has no account, no login, and no sign-up. We do not know who you are
It does not collect analytics, telemetry, or usage data, and it does not phone home
Its settings and the learned background of your room stay in a folder on your computer. Right-click the tray icon and choose Open Data Folder to see it
The only time VeBeGe reaches the internet is when you click a link to open this website, or to download an update

The website

What vebege.io collects.

This site is ordinary. Like almost every web server, it keeps standard access logs (your IP address, browser, and the pages you request) to keep the site running and secure. We do not use these to build a profile of you, and there are no advertising or tracking cookies.

If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email, and message you type, so we can reply. We use it for that and nothing else
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone
No third-party ad networks, no analytics pixels, no cross-site tracking

VeBeGe is a general-audience tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how VeBeGe or this site handles data, we will update this page and its date. Since the app collects nothing, we do not expect this to change often.
